Cute and content as they may appear, Northern koalas are actually under a great deal of stress as their Australian habitat disappears. The Big Scrub Rainforest once spanned 75,000 hectares, but now, just 1% of its original range remains. The loss has endangered local wildlife, including the Northern Koala.
