  • Your trees will be planted during the optimal season, and your gift will be memorialized in our online tree registry.

Arbor Day Foundation trees are planted in forests of need across the country, helping restore landscapes affected by fires, storms, insects, and other threats while making the world greener and healthier.

If you choose a printed card or certificate, it will ship the next business day and will typically arrive within 3–7 days via First-Class U.S. Mail. If you select a digital certificate, it will be emailed to you immediately.
No. Exact planting locations are not provided because commemorative trees are planted in large-scale reforestation projects and often in remote or hazardous areas. However, you are welcome to visit publicly accessible areas near where your trees are planted. While you may not be able to visit your specific trees, you can spend meaningful time in the places they help restore.
No. There are no plaques or signs placed by individual trees. Your dedication is documented in the Arbor Day Foundation’s online tree registry to preserve the natural landscape.
You may select one of our featured forests or choose to plant in a forest of greatest need. The Arbor Day Foundation works with national and regional planting partners to identify forests with the highest ecological need using satellite mapping and environmental data.
Every reforestation project plants native species selected by local forestry experts. Species vary by location to support biodiversity, climate resilience, and long-term forest health.
