The four plants arrived looking healthy and I got them in the ground within 48 hours. It’s been a month now and they’re settling in nicely, not dropping a single leaf or showing any brown edges. In New Jersey I’m at the northern limit of Dahoon Holly’s frost hardiness, so in late Fall I’ll add more mulch and swaddle the enclosures with burlap, at least for their first year, till I see how they fare.
