The Girl Scout Tree Promise commits to planting 5 million trees, protecting newly planted trees and existing tree cover, and honoring trees on camp properties and in local communities. Girl Scouts know that trees support the elimination of carbon emissions, create habitats for wildlife and to promote the safeguarding of existing trees. The Tree Promise also recognizes supporting actions in conjunction with tree planting, protecting and honoring activities, such as nursery development and environmental education.

As part of the Girl Scout Tree Promise, Girl Scouts of the USA (“GSUSA”) has chosen the Arbor Day Foundation as a tree planting partner. Any personal data collected through these transactions will be provided to both organizations, excluding credit card and related financial data which will not be shared with GSUSA. This information will be used and processed for the general business purposes for which you provided the information and in accordance with each organization’s privacy policy.
