The Saijo persimmon tree is a favorite for good reason. The fruit is sweet, contains very few seeds, and is great for fresh eating, baking, and drying In addition to delicious fruit, this tree also provides pinkish-white spring blossoms and vivid fall color in shades of orange, yellow and red.
Produces conical fruit with yellow to orange colored skill and a yellow flesh
Blooms in late spring, with pinkish-white flowers
Features intense orange, yellow, and red foliage in the fall
Has excellent pest resistance as well as good disease and drought tolerance
