Pennsbury Manor, the 17th century country estate of William Penn, founder and first governor of Pennsylvania; celebrates its 75th anniversary as a public museum in 2014. This 43-acre country estate, situated along the Delaware River in Bucks County, Pennsylvania is home to gardens, stables with animals, outbuildings, and a reconstruction of the 1683 Manor House. Visitors enjoy a serene, peaceful place that transports them back to the 17th century. William Penn referred to Pennsbury Manor as, “a country life and estate I like best for my children.” Your membership in the Arbor Day Foundation will help future generations to enjoy this historic estate for the next 75 years and ensure that they too will enjoy the peace, tranquility, and beauty of this historic site.
